After an extremely heavy year, I’ve finally decided to sit down and share my story and experiences as a first time mother.

My name is Jossie and I am the grateful mama of a beautiful one year old baby girl who goes by the name Hannah. Not only am I a grateful mama, but I’m also a tired mama, a mama whose had to face her greatest fear; I’m a medical mama.

It’s been quite the ride and frankly, it doesn’t seem like we’re off this train just yet.

In this safe space, my desire is to shed light into a valley of motherhood that most never get to see and often just don’t understand.
